As I write this I'm looking forward to the wine tour to Walla Walla. Hope you are one of the twenty cars that are going! The Simmons have put together a great event and I can't wait. I don't even like wine and I'm excited. There is even a goodie bag for everyone, how cool is that? Our Zone Representative, Dave Cooley, will join us, he likes wine.

We had a Board meeting this September and the minutes should now be posted online. These meetings are open to all members, so come to the next and be part of the decision process. There are some changes coming our way, stay tuned!

Speaking of changes, the Downshift is going through a big change. Bill Shaw has retired and Lisa Sarmiento and Jesse Felder are now the new editors. Thank you Bill for all the hard work and long hours taking us from paper to electronic. I'm sure the new staff will be good stewards of your effort.

We are now on Facebook, have you checked it out? We are also using a new email service so we can add pictures and graphics. How did you like the calendar email? Now you can print the calendar and hang it on the refrigerator so you can track of all the events. We will send this out prior to the next month so you can make you plans to be part of the action.

The last Arrive and Drive of the year (how sad) is going to be lead by yours truly. My mission is to find some new roads. Can it be done? Be there and drive for yourself. Don't forget, two groups, carbureted and fuel injection.

Have you checked out the Goodie Store yet? Come to the next breakfast and buy some raffle tickets so you have a chance to score one of the 15% off coupons to the Goodie Store. It's not too early to think about Christmas.

Just received my ticket and corral pass for Rennsport in the mail; this is going to be GREAT! The corral is full; can you imagine all the Porsches? It's going to hard to get out of the parking lot and into the paddock.

PCA life is good! Hope you are enjoying it.

Auf Wiedersehen!
