Reno, Nevada
August 8 – 11, 2013

by Ed & Evelyn Chernoff

If you haven’t made plans to join us for the “largest car happening” in the United States, after reading the following event information may you might want to reconsider our weekend event in Reno.

This year not only will you see more cars than you could possibly imagine, you can also listen to the following musical groups: “Bill Medley” of the Righteous Brothers, Paul Revere and the Raiders and Tower of Power. In addition, there will be a tribute to the Temptations. All entertainment is open to the public and totally FREE!

In addition to the thousands of cars on display and as much music as you wish to see and hear, a special feature this year is a Barrett Jackson Auction for those wanting to add to their “stable”.

Evelyn and I will be coordinating a caravan to Reno on Thursday, August 8. Hotels are filling up fast. We, and several other members, are registered at The Peppermill Hotel and Casino (775-826-2121). Some members will be staying with friends, relatives or at other hotels in the Reno area. Regardless of where you stay, we’ll caravan together for a great ride!

To date, there are 10 Porsches committed to the drive with a few "maybes." Plan to join us for a great weekend. Also, since everyone will be handling their own accommodations, please let us know if you will be attending so we can make sure to include you on all forthcoming information on the caravan.
