Enjoying coffee, donuts & friends

Jim Lewis and Company hosted the HDR first-Saturday gathering at Rack N Roll's new location on First St. in Bend on April 5th. The new shop is spacious, well designed, well equipped, and even featured a mock-up residential garage inside with the address "911"! Very Cool!!

Tim's 930 & Bren's 356

The event was well attended and featured Tim Hagner's smooth-running '87 Turbo, Mike Simmons red 911 Street Racer, and Bren Hirschberg's newly restored '59 356 as eye candy and conversation-starters.

Now here's the real scoop on roof racks!

Pete Olson brought his brand-spankin' new Cayenne and the staff at Rack N Roll used it as a demo for how the new roof rack systems can attach to Porsche's SUV. Very slick and tidy...looked custom designed for that car - it even matched the trim on Pete's Platinum edition. Unfortunately, Pete had to give it back before they would let him leave!

Racked N Ready to Roll

Good coffee, plenty of donuts and lots of car talk. Everyone had their Porsches out and were obviously eager to share stories. Much of the talk centered around the sharply rising used Porsche prices. Screw the stock market....invest in Porsches!!

This was the last Cars and Coffee of the season as next month starts the Arrive and Drives on Saturday, May 3rd. Bring your Porsche, and let's go for a drive!
