Happy New Year!!!

The beginning of each New Year is an opportunity to reflect on the past, and look forward to the future.

Looking Back : 2015 provided lot’s of wonderful memories of High Desert Region Porsche Club events, friends, and of course Porsches…  It’s absolutely amazing the benefits which are derived from owning a Porsche!

We had a wonderful Holiday Party at the Bend Country Club on December 6th.  A special “thank you” to Sue Hagner.  Sue stepped up & did a fantastic job of organizing, coordinating, and implementing this event.  Thank you to all of the “elves” who supported Sue in this event!

Please take a look at the Holiday Party story in this month’s Downshift (written by Hack Heyward) which tells the story.

Hack tells of the 2015 awards, & the success of the silent auction and raffle, which provides funding for the HDR charities (COCC Automotive & Bend La Pine High School Drivers Ed Winter Driving Skills).  Also included are many photos taken by our “ace” photographer, Roger Sanders!

Thank you to all of our members who attended and enjoyed the evening!

And then… I do have to admit, I took time out to see Santa, and apparently he bought my story (of naughty & nice) since he did an excellent job of filling my stocking!  Skated by on that one…

Looking Forward: Scott Loring, our Event Chairman, has been “very busy”, working with our HDR members, in planning and organizing our 2016 activities.  The “preliminary” schedule is now posted on our website… Take a look, and see which ones fit into your 2016 schedule!

We will kick-off the HDR calendar year with a Cars & Coffee at my shop near the Redmond Airport.  I will be sending an e-mail blast with additional details…

Wishing you “great success” as we look forward to making

                 “2016 Our Best Year Ever!”

Enjoy your Porsche & Porsche Friends Even More!

Presidential Ramblings (April 2017)

Presidential Ramblings (March 2017)
