This is a combined driving tour leaving from Bend and an autocross joint event with the Oregon Region of PCA (ORPCA) held at Portland International Raceway.  Autocross is a timed event in which drivers navigate one at a time through a defined course on a smooth, paved surface.  It is a form of motorsports that emphasizes safe competition and active participation.  This event is a safe and fun way to explore your driving skills and the performance capabilities of your Porsche.  The Autocross event begins early Sunday morning which requires that we travel to Portland on Saturday.

We have planned a casual trip through the Santiam Pass to Silverton and the Oregon Gardens.  From there we will travel north to our hotel rooms in Vancouver.  We have a group dinner planned for Saturday night at a restaurant along the Columbia River.  The club has made financial a commitment to the Vancouver Hilton to reserve a block of rooms.  If you are inclined to participate in the Autocross event it is not necessary to travel with the group on Saturday but we need you to book a room at the Vancouver Hilton to assure we, as a group, will make it to the Autocross event on Sunday morning in time for group instructions.
