Porsches on the High Desert
High Desert Region, June 12th – 14th
Come join us for a fun weekend in Bend, Oregon! We will have a Friday night reception and dinner at Porsches of Bend (Kendall), a fun Arrive and Shine Car Show in downtown Bend on Saturday the 13th with lunch and prizes, followed by a scenic drive to Mt Bachelor and a “Funkana” to finish the day time festivities. Saturday night dinner on your own or with HDR members, and Sunday, we will gather for a spirited drive in the direction of our visiting members Regions before sending them off towards their homes.

FRIDAY: 5:30 pm - Meet at Porsche of Bend for Reception and Dinner 1045 SE 3rd Street, Bend OR PH: 541 382 1711
SATURDAY: 8:00 am - Arrive and Shine, Judging by Class at Deschutes Historical Museum 129 NW Idaho Avenue, Bend Special “Work in Progress” Class!
2:00 pm – Tour to Mt. Bachelor – “Funkana”
4:00 pm – Return to Bend for free time and dinner
SUNDAY: 10:30 am – Gather for our Farewell Drive
12 Noon – Wave goodbye to our friends from neighbor Regions

LODGING in Bend: Since we can’t be sure of the number of rooms to block we have found that discounts through AAA or others are very competitive. TripAdvisor, and the like, often have deals too. We recommend that you look at The Oxford or DoubleTree downtown or the Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn & Suites at the Old Mill. There are many other moderate lodgings including the Shiloh and Fairfield Inns. June is a popular time in Bend so please book as soon as you can!
SHOPPING in Bend: We are home to many unique shops both in downtown and at the Old Mill and there are Outlet stores as well.
DINING in Bend: We have some excellent restaurants, Brew Pubs for beer aficionados, and casual dining cafes. We will reserve several venues for dinner with HDR members.
