Zip Line Mountain Adventure!

July 18, 2021

Scenic chairlift rides are a summer activity the whole family can enjoy! Your ride begins at 6,300 feet in our West Village base area and takes you on a relaxing ride to the Pine Marten Lodge perched at 7,800 feet. On the ride up you'll look out over one million acres of pristine, undeveloped land, including the Three Sisters peaks, Broken Top and the many Cascade Lakes. As summer progresses, the mountain exposes ancient lava flows, wildflowers and year-round snowfields. You may even catch a glimpse of a Pine Marten while enjoying the different species of evergreen trees, including Mountain Hemlock, Lodgepole, and White Bark Pines. Once you reach the top, what you do is up to you! Chair lift cost is $20.00.  If you are planning on going on the Zip Line tour, the cost of the chair lift is included in your Zip Line ticket.

Whether it be for a casual lunch or a quick snack, rest your legs and refuel in the Pine Marten Lodge at one of Oregon's highest-elevation eateries. Scapolo's (Italian for "Bachelor") is the perfect place for a refreshing summer lunch on the mountain, offering a selection of Mediterranean-inspired fare including salads, flatbreads, rice bowls and hot sandwiches, complete with our full drink menu including beer, wine and soft drinks. The speedy counter-service will ensure that you get back out on the trails quick, or take your beverage or meal out on the deck to kick back and soak up the views.

Experience Mt. Bachelor like never before with the addition of their zip line to the mountain adventures. This dual-line, three-stage tour launches from an elevation of 7,800 feet, above the tree line at the top of Pine Marten lift, and drops nearly 1,400 vertical feet along the volcano’s slopes to make it the Northwest’s steepest, fastest, and highest-elevation zip adventure. Ride at your own pace with the zip trolley’s self-controlled braking system and enjoy the thrill with your friends on two side-by-side lines on each span.  Go to for more information on the zip line, experience, requirements and safety.
